Campervan with Thom

Last minute decision to spend the night away from home with Thom. Drove out past Lofthouse towards Masham.  Great night and Thom did really well.

14 miles and bogs galore

Andy and I decided to walk from Lofthouse to Kettlewell via scar house reservoir and great whernside. Great fun and the weather was kind.

Me time...

Life has been mental over the last few months with work, Claire's health and building work taking place in the house so I haven't had an opportunity to update the blog or get out as much as I would like.  However on Wednesday 9th April I had a very rare evening to myself so after much internal arguments I forced myself out for a ride up to Cold Stones Cut.  I really enjoyed it once I was out and was pleased fitness wise considering that I haven't been out for a month or so.  Best thing was I had it all to myself! 

Pinicle Hill

Great 14 mile ride today...weather was damp and on exposed area's the wind could be felt.  First proper ride on my new forks and they work a treat, very pleased especially with my wider bars.  Climb up from pateley through a caravan park but then the countryside opens up.  Discovered an old mine that looks to be a fun place to ride.  Shall be back for sure!
