Escape from hospital....
A day after being released Claire needed some dales therapy so we headed down to Fewston reservoir for a short walk in the sunshine.

Hospital
Claire became more and more breathless in Northumberland and then ended up in hospital and needed an operation to remove 2.5 litres of fluid from her lung . Thom made an overdue visit and much fun was had with the buttons on the bed! Who knew they went that high!

Northumberland
At the beginning of July we headed up to the Northumberland coast an area we'd never explored before. Despite the tantrums of a 3.5 year old and some serious rain we had a good time. Definitely will be back.

Cheryl & Steve
We were honoured to have Cheryl and Steve make the trip up from Wales to come visit. Both had never to Yorkshire before so we gave them a good taste of the dales life. Burnsall picnic, afternoon in Grassington and then a day in Pateley visiting the museum and shops and finally a trip to Scar House reservoir.
