Martin, Rich and I had planned a big ride starting in Kilnsey and riding over towards Malham. Unfortunately Rich had to look after his poorly daughter so just Martin and I took to the trails. It turned out to be a bit of an epic and by the end we were ready to stop! Super fun though and the November weather gods were kind.
The weekend after Claire died we took a trip up to Runswick Bay to get some coast action. It was one of our favourite places so it seemed to be a fitting thing to do and it felt like she was with us.
At the end of Sept we had a celebration of life, love and friendship camping weekend in Appletreewick. Despite cold nights the weather was glorious and over 30 friends joined us to celebrate Claire and our friendships. We will continue to do it annually in Claire's memory. 
Sept we managed to get away for a few days in between hospital appointments. The weather was great and we had so much fun on the beach every day. It was to be our last special break together. It was also the scene of the ketchup incident! Great and special times. 
One full moon filled evening in September saw me take a ride to the top of Guisecliff and sleep under the stars out in the elements. Had a great night and really enjoyed it but needless to say was rather tired the next day!
