We were honoured to have Cheryl and Steve make the trip up from Wales to come visit. Both had never to Yorkshire before so we gave them a good taste of the dales life. Burnsall picnic, afternoon in Grassington and then a day in Pateley visiting the museum and shops and finally a trip to Scar House reservoir.

Being kids again!
A Friday night treat saw us hooking up with Julie and Andy and the kids at Billy bob's American diner near Skipton. The kids and us big kids had the play barns all to ourselves.....happy to report no one got hurt despite much reckless rope swinging! Great times :-)

Beloved Burnsal
Monday's don't come much better than this. Making up for the lost Friday at Leeds hospital Claire and I took a ride out to Burnsall. What a fabulous place! Only 20 minutes from home too! Happy days :-)

Appletreewick to Home
Had another great walk with Andy today. Julie dropped us off near Appletreewick and we walked home via Simons Seat and Trollers Gill. 13 miles in total and great weather for it.

Thoms first paddle in the river Nidd
One hot June evening we all took Alf for a walk down by the river....or in the river more like! After a little bit of coaxing by mummy it wasn't long before Thom was in the river having fun! Happy special days with the three of us xxx

Yorkshire Wildlife Park
On a raining Saturday we went along to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park with Paul and Amanda. It's a brilliant place and Thom really enjoyed it.
